Deluxe Family Room, Courtyard @ Heeren

If you remember in my previous post, I mentioned that we went to Malacca for a short break. And we stay in Courtyard @ Heeren, a boutique hotel in the heart of Malacca.

The hotel has only 14 rooms and suites, promising to offer a nostalgic experience to all guests. Each of the rooms and suites are individually design blending old with modern design to bring a new level of experience for guests.

Without further ado, I’ll show you how our room looks like :)

The outside of Room F3 (Deluxe Family Room).

As said earlier, there’s a piece of furniture or two placed at every corner of the hotel. A dresser in front of room.

Snapped a photo to show the exposed roof before entering my room.

Solid entrance door.

The Deluxe Family Room comes with 2 bed ie. a king size mattress and a single size mattress, both laid on top of timber platform. TIPS: Indeed great for families. The mattress and pillows are comfy too.

A simple dresser/table. Great decor.

The single bed which my daughter has booked!

Carvings detail on timber bed platform.

Even curtain hook is here to blend with Peranakan style!

Flat screen TV. Love the “unfinished paint” on wood panel.

Nice counter with a mirror. Basic toiletries are provided.Vanity top and wc are from Johnson Suisse.

Large bathroom.

The best part is all rooms come with rain shower! My favorite! Of course there’s the usual hand shower. I spotted the brand of these fittings – from TEKA.

Did we enjoyed our stay? Self-explanatory LOL.  If you are undecided over where to stay, give this hotel a try!

    • Hehe… yeah, there’s no bath tub. A little difficult for a baby :) But the hotel is great. Will return if I ever go to Malacca.
