Experience The Japanese Toilets!

It will be a little embarrassing to talk about my experience with Super Toilet not too long ago. Allow me to continue … I was lucky to be able to tag along in my husband’s business trip to Shanghai, all at company’s expense *wink – great right? And we couldn’t be luckier as our return flight was upgraded from economy to business class. Hooray! It was my first time flying on business class. Well, business class is distinguished from other travel classes by the quality of seating, food, drinks, ground service and other amenities.
While waiting to board at Pudong Airport Shanghai, I hang around in Business Lounge. Oh yah! There were food bars and the selections consisted of fried noodles, finger sandwiches, salad bar, fruit bar, desserts, and a few drink coolers. The lounge also provide beverages like coffee, water, soft drinks, juices, beer and other alcoholic beverages. They had a massage chair and a desk with a computer for use with internet.
Before I left, I went to the bathroom. That’s how I tried out Super Toilet! I mean a modern high-end wireless toilet with numerous functions, errr… forgive me for being ignorant. If it’s your first time, you will take 10-15 minutes to read the instructions and buttons on control panel, and then trying them out one-by-one.
Super Toilet is one of the most advanced types of toilet worldwide, commonly found in Japanese toilets. While the toilet looks like a normal water closet at first glance, there are numerous additional features – such as blow dryer, seat heating, massage options, water jet adjustments, automatic lid opening, automatic flushing and wireless control panel mounted on a nearby wall (there maybe more).
By the way, the brand of this water closet is TOTO – a good high end brand of sanitary ware.
Looks like a normal water closet?
Hey, look, there’s a sensor here!
Control panel attached to wall
When cover is opened, there are many more buttons
Instructions, which I don’t read
I am unable to show more photos, I’ll let you experience it yourself. Enjoy! LOL.
