Sri Petaling is a matured neighborhood. Located centrally with easy access to any parts of the city makes Sri Petaling’s properties highly in demand. With that property prices have increased tremendously over the years, most landed properties are beyond affordability for average buyers.
If you still would like to stay near to town and with a tight budget, perhaps this is what you can consider. There is a medium cost apartment in Sri Petaling (there are not many apartments here though).

Majority Chinese and most of them are property owners, mean they own the apartment and stay there. Thus security here is generally fine and peaceful. Of course there are some units for rent. Very easy to find tenants. Bus stop right in front and walking distance to Bukit Jalil LRT station.
If you are thinking to buy an apartment at ground floor and first floor, chances are very slim. Even if these owners move out, most of the time, they keep the apartment and rent it out. According to the management office, there is a long list of keen buyers. You can only get a unit at low floors provided you have contacts there in order to get any news fast! I’m serious.
Another plus factor is ample parking spaces within apartment compound itself. You don’t have to park along main road. Even at night, you may only see few cars parked outside. A rare scene for apartments.
